Thank you to everyone that attended & supported PACE at the special performance of Pipeline.
We were proud to have the opportunity to honor “MacArthur Genius” Bill Strickland and the 50th year of community jewel, Manchester Bidwell Corporation, as we continue to celebrate our 50th anniversary and mark a half-century of grant-making.
The prolific writing of 2018 "MacArthur Genius" Dominique Morriseau, and the performance of “PIPELINE", sparked many conversations about ways to break through the barriers that divide us and lead us to uplift one another.
Kudos to the great staff at City Theatre, the PACE planning committee and Sugar & Smoke for the very tasty reception!!!!
“The Program to Aid Citizen Enterprise is celebrating its 50th anniversary and to mark the half century of grant-making, the organization honored Bill Strickland Jr., founder of Manchester Bidwell Corp. Wednesday at City Theatre. “Manchester Corp. was the first organization that PACE presented with a grant, and Bill Strickland was our first grantee,” said Linda Baker, board chair of PACE. “As it turns out they are celebrating their 50th anniversary, too.””
