2015 Strategic Action Planning Program

Dear Friends of PACE,

Program to Aid Citizen Enterprise (PACE) is announcing the kickoff of our third cohort of the Strategic Action Planning Program.  The program, designed and delivered with support from the Heinz Endowments, The Pittsburgh Foundation and the Richard King Mellon Foundation, is the result of a multi-year collaborative effort among PACE, POISE Foundation, State Representative Jake Wheatley and these funders to strengthen the capacity of organizations led by, governed by, and serving African Americans.

The purpose of the Strategic Action Planning Program is to support the development of stronger, more resilient community-based nonprofit organizations. Specifically, grants through this program will support the efforts of ‘ready’ organizations to examine their mission and the environment in which they work in order to create a strategic action plan to achieve their goals.
