Marlon Gist, a native of Sewickley, PA, now resides in Aliquippa. Introduced to art at a young age by his late father, David Gist Sr., Marlon pursued his passion at The Columbus College of Art and Design, exploring a wide range of mediums and styles from abstract to realism.
Today Marlon is recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s premier emerging artists, with work exhibited across the United States. His distinctive style, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to his craft make his art both compelling and memorable.
PACE is honored to have supported Marlon’s work as a grantee in the Capacity Building II cohort of the Pittsburgh Cultural Treasures Initiative, a recent special program focused on Black independent artists and arts organizations that support them.
