Although we know that effective nonprofits contribute to community well-being, years of disinvestment have kept most organizations serving communities of need in the early stages of growth and development, irrespective of their chronological age.
Supported by leading regional foundations, PACE’s Strategic Action Planning program has, over the last ten years, measurably increased the organizational capacity of 23 African American-led and governed organizations. Participants create a strategic plan and receive funds to implement it.
*The Strategic Action Planning program is currently being reassessed due to changes in funding. We aim to incorporate the deep dive characteristics of this successful 10-year program into our other programs.
